Does this replace Shopify Purchase Orders?
No. Native Shopify Purchase Orders remain the source of truth. The beta adds export formats, supplier communication, responses, and an audit trail.
Does the supplier need an account?
No. Supplier links use an opaque secure token and can be revoked or expired by the merchant.
Can I export Excel?
Yes. The MVP export engine produces CSV and XLSX deterministically without relying on AI.
Can I use my supplier's spreadsheet columns?
That is the core workflow: rename, reorder, exclude, and add static columns, then save the mapping for that supplier.
Does it change inventory or the Shopify PO?
Not automatically. The current public native-PO API is treated as read-only. Supplier responses are stored separately so the merchant remains in control.
Which Shopify stores work?
The beta targets stores with access to Shopify's native Purchase Orders and the current Purchase Order API. Exact eligibility will be verified during the development-store spike.
What happens if I uninstall?
App-owned data is subject to the uninstall and privacy deletion flow. Exported files remain wherever you saved or sent them.
Is supplier data secure?
The design uses high-entropy links, hashed token storage, tenant isolation, expiry/revocation, spreadsheet-injection protection, and audit events. Security testing is part of the beta gate.
